Things are moving along... slowly

Good news to report: The Echo had finally arrived! Took long enough, but we're glad it's here. We've been getting the trailer rigged out, installed some cabinets and stuff, going to install the air compressor tomorrow.

Marlene has been busy removing Tim Arfons name from the sides of the car, and polishing up the paint. We hope to have everything ready to go by the end of the week. After the car is ready, we hope to take a two day break in Puerto Penasco, Mexico to check out the real estate situation and spend some time on the beach.

We have our new ARMAGEDDON web site up and running. You can find it at www.armageddonjetcar.com . It's a bit simple right now, but we'll expand it as we go along.

The RV park we are at is quite near a HUGE truck stop, and there is a restaurant there called "Omar's Highway Cafe" which always seems busy with truckers, cops, and lots of other folks. So we decided to give it a try tonight, and we were pleasantly surprised. The fare is simple, but tasty, quality, and in HUGE portions. We will probably go back sometime for their "world famous" deep dish apple pie and ice-cream. Stay tuned...
